Hannah Johnson joined EHTC as an Assurance Associate in the fall of 2022. She is a Davenport University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an internal audit specialty—an area of accounting she finds particularly interesting. She completed her accounting internship at a local credit union, where she worked as a teller and then a payment system specialist in the finance department. There, Hannah learned about the financial industry and saw firsthand the real-life applications of what she was learning in college. Growing up, she always enjoyed math, which fueled her interest in pursuing an accounting degree. Her work at the credit union further cemented that decision.  

For Hannah, a typical day at EHTC involves helping prepare financial statements and performing compilations, reviews, and audits for clients. She conducts tests and develops procedures for the different assurance services and communicates with clients about needed support documentation, scheduling meetings, and completing fieldwork.
