Meet Anna!

CPA | Tax Manager

Anna Fild, CPA, is a Tax Manager at EHTC. She chose the field of finance after her high school accounting teacher said she had a knack for it, guiding her to choose accounting as her major at Grand Valley State University. During her time there, she grew to love the problem-solving aspects that accompanied the finance field!

In August 2022, Anna obtained her CPA certification! As a certified CPA, Anna is able to speak to the IRS directly on behalf of her clients and assists them with many other potential tax challenges. Her role at EHTC focuses on closely held businesses and individual tax compliance. Her typical day-to-day workload includes assisting clients with tax notices and compliance, accounting support, consulting services, analysis of financial statements, tax projections, and more! Additionally, Anna supports the Tax Department with intern and staff trainings, as well as internship recruitment.

Anna has extensive experience in U.S. reporting for foreign subsidiaries of U.S. companies. She acquired this specialty through years of preparing required reporting forms and researching the specific issues related to reporting for these entities.

Anna loves the culture at EHTC, her co-workers, and the opportunity to gain experience in many different tax areas! Her best piece of advice for individuals seeking to work in the finance field is to find a workplace that values work-life balance.

Outside of work, you can find Anna spending time with her fiance, Brad, her cat, Dean, and her family and friends. She also enjoys relaxing with a good show and great food. For fuel, Anna isn’t picky about how her coffee is prepared as long as it is caffeinated!
