What is Chipping for Charity?
In addition to being able to help a local charity, our Chipping for Charity outing gives us the opportunity to support other local small businesses, and holding it at Scott Lake Golf & Practice Center in Comstock Park is part of that. Since 1962, the Center has welcomed golf enthusiasts of all skill levels to their public course, and their passion aligns with ours in the way they treat all of their guests.
All of us at EHTC strive to maintain a balance of hard work, fun, and philanthropic endeavors, and this event represents all of those efforts well. Since we first started Chipping for Charity, more than $350,000 has been raised and invested into West Michigan nonprofit organizations.
We couldn’t be happier to give back to the community that has given so much to us!
Chipping for Charity is a yearly event that’s close to the hearts of all of us at EHTC. Through it, we live and breathe our core values: Willingness to Grow, Going Above and Beyond, Passion for Living, and Teamwork.
Each year, we select a different local nonprofit organization to be the recipient of the Chipping for Charity golf outing proceeds.
At EHTC we’re not only committed to helping clients and team members reach their full potential; we extend that philosophy to the community at large, and that’s why these types of events are so meaningful to us.
Meet Paws With A Cause, our 36th annual Chipping for Charity Golf Outing recipient.
Each year we select a different local nonprofit organization to donate the proceeds of our annual outing.
Making our recipient selection is never easy with so many wonderful and worthy causes, but it is a rewarding task as our team at EHTC prides themselves in giving back to the local community!
Paws With A Cause enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom-trained assistance dogs, and focuses on increasing awareness of the rights and roles of assistance dog teams through education and advocacy.
