Meet Brian!

Director of Finance and Operations

Brian May serves as the Director of Finance and Operations at EHTC, where he brings a wealth of experience and a passion for business, honed in over his diverse and dynamic career.

With a robust background in corporate finance and management consulting, Brian developed expertise in growth strategy and execution, particularly for large, publicly-traded companies. His career took a dynamic turn as he transitioned into leadership roles within high-growth entrepreneurial organizations. Notably, at Founders Brewing Company, Brian played a key role in crystallizing the company's growth plan, securing a liquidity partner, and expanding international operations. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found the first-ever canned spirits business, demonstrating his ability to innovate and navigate complex market challenges.

Brian's dedication to community and leadership extends beyond his professional duties. He serves on the boards of Envoy B2B, a local tech company, and Tolman's Meats, a local meat processing company. Previously, he was on the board and served as treasurer for USA Boxing, the governing body of amateur boxing in the United States.

Brian was already familiar with EHTC as a long-time client of the firm. His admiration for EHTC's people and culture, characterized by intelligence, collaboration, and mutual respect, made his transition to an employee seamless.

In his role, Brian oversees all support functions, including Administration, Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, and IT. His goal is to provide exceptional service to the practice areas, allowing them to better serve clients and drive the firm's growth. He works collaboratively with the Support Services team, meets regularly with practice leaders, and partners closely with EHTC visionary, Dave Echelbarger, to solve problems and evaluate growth opportunities.

Outside of his professional life, Brian enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. The family loves to travel, ski, golf, and socialize with friends and extended family. Brian is also passionate about coaching youth sports, particularly football and basketball, and maintains a strong commitment to fitness.
