Meet Mary!

Accounting Director

Mary Echelbarger began working at EHTC in 1996 in the Accounting Service Department, and, today, serves as Accounting Director for the firm. She graduated Aquinas College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and it was there where she discovered she enjoyed learning about accounting. 

In her role at EHTC, Mary wears many hats. She processes all projects required for internal accounting, assists with payroll and benefits, handles Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and ACH fund transfers, and has been the practice expert for time entry and billing. She also trains new hires regarding time entry, and assists all team members, clients, vendors, when needed. In addition, she trains EHTC’s accounting clerk in the areas of billing, AR, AP, and more.

Mary most enjoys the flexibility the staff at EHTC have for family, and feels great satisfaction with  her position with the firm. When advising others who are interested in the areas of finance and accounting, she says, “Enjoy change and communicate well.”

Outside of work, Mary loves being a grandma to three amazing grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends.
