Peter Firlik embarked on his journey in the finance and business consulting industry in 2021, diving into the realm of public accounting.

Peter's expertise lies in audit services within public accounting, with a notable tenure at BDO before joining EHTC. Over the past few years, he has honed his skills in manufacturing and distribution, gaining valuable experience in business combinations and acquisition work. His passion for building client relationships and dedication to technical proficiency make him a valuable asset to the EHTC team.

Peter is an alumnus of Ferris State University, where he pursued a double major in Accounting and Finance, graduating in 2018. Furthering his education, he earned an MBA from Oakland University in 2021. His commitment to continuous improvement is evident in his recent attainment of the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification in 2023, showcasing his ability to oversee engagements efficiently from initiation to completion.

What drew Peter to finance and business consulting was his innate love for numbers and organizational prowess. He finds the career trajectory promising, especially relishing the vibrant atmosphere of public accounting, populated by a younger workforce. 

In his role as an Assurance Senior Associate at EHTC, Peter focuses on serving clients in West Michigan, specializing in audit services. He takes charge in managing teams, ensuring seamless communication through check-in calls and meetings. Additionally, he plays a pivotal role in training interns and staff, emphasizing professional development within the firm.

Beyond the walls of the office, Peter is an avid fitness enthusiast, finding solace in working out. He balances the rigor of his work with leisurely activities such as boating, quality time with friends, and engaging in outdoor adventures with his beloved dog, Leila.
