EHTC Welcomes New Tax Services Director to Enhance Private Client Services
AUGUST 5, 2024 (Grand Rapids, Michigan) - Full-service CPA firm, EHTC, announces the hiring of Joanna (Jo) Gould, CPA as a Director in the Tax Department.
Gould has over nine years of experience in public accounting, with most of her career spent at a “Big Four” accounting firm in Grand Rapids. Gould specializes in tax compliance and planning for closely held businesses and their stakeholders, family offices, and high net-worth individuals.
Gould earned both her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and her Master of Science in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. She is a current member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
“Jo will be instrumental in growing the firm through private client service offerings in the Tax Department, as well as complement our Advisory Department,” says Heather Kelbel, CPA, Tax Services Partner. “She will be a valuable team member and key to developing our team’s technical capabilities. At EHTC, Gould will focus on growing the depth of services the firm offers its private clients, such as wealth transfer planning, estate and gift tax planning, business succession planning, and overall advising. Her goal is to ensure clients receive exceptional client service by leveraging the expertise of EHTC’s talented team and the firm’s resources.
